Ironton Fire Department Now Hiring Firefighter Applicants
The City of Ironton is pleased to announce that the Ironton Fire Department is actively recruiting qualified individuals for Firefighter positions. Candidates who are selected will join a dedicated team committed to protecting the lives and property of Ironton residents.
Compensation & Benefits
Accepted applicants will receive a starting hourly wage of $18.27, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes a 24-on/48-off shift schedule, paid training, a quarterly clothing allowance, a sick incentive bonus, premium holiday pay, and generous overall benefits.
Testing Dates
All applicants are required to complete the following:
- Physical Agility Test: April 18th
- Written Test: April 21st
