Ironton Police Department Now Hiring Police Officer Applicants
The City of Ironton is pleased to announce that the Ironton Police Department is currently accepting applications for Police Officer positions. This is an opportunity to join a professional law enforcement agency committed to the safety and well-being of the Ironton community.
Compensation & Benefits
Accepted applicants will receive a starting hourly wage of $25.39. The position also includes enrollment in the Ohio Police & Fire Pension, a quarterly uniform allowance, paid holidays, a generous benefits package, civil service protections, FOP union bargaining rights, and a take-home patrol vehicle.
Testing Dates
All applicants are required to complete the following:
- Physical Agility Test: April 4th
- Written Test: April 7th
