RESOLUTION NO. 21-21

AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A REFUSE TRUCK

WHEREAS, the City of Ironton is in need of a new refuse truck; and,

WHEREAS, the City has received a quote from Bell Equipment Company for the purchase of a Heil refuse truck.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRONTON, OHIO:

SECTION 1: That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a purchase agreement with Bell Equipment Company for the purchase of a Heil DP5000 25-yard High Performance Rear Loader Refuse Truck for the sum of $171,311.21.

SECTION 2: This Resolution shall be declared an emergency necessary for the protection of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of the City of Ironton, Ohio.
