The Ironton Skate Park shares the site. It was dedicated in 2014, built with grants from the Tony Hawk Foundation and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and $30,000 in community donations. Upgrades to the skate park are on the way.

The city has also planted a grove of nut trees here, which will shade the park as they grow.
