ORDINANCE NO. 20-79

AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO THE ATTACHED CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH IBI GROUP ENGINEERING SERVICES USA, INC. AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into a Consulting Services Agreement with IBI Group Engineering Services USA, Inc. for the purpose of professional services.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRONTON, OHIO:

SECTION I:

The development of a general plan for the City of Ironton to study three components of their waste water system, as it relates to the consent decree and integrated planning:

  1. Wastewater treatment plant;
  2. Combined sanitary sewer collection system (specifically, Batham Lane, phases 4 & 5 of the sewer improvement projects);
  3. Stormwater pump stations and storm drainage from the US-52 corridor

SECTION II:

Pursuant to the attached hereto Consulting Services Agreement the City of Ironton agrees to compensate IBI for all hours worked and reimbursable expenses incurred, not to exceed $88,760.00.

SECTION III:

That this Ordinance is hereby declared an emergency measure necessary for the public peace, welfare and safety of the Citizens of the City of Ironton, Ohio and shall take effect immediately upon passage.
