ORDINANCE NO. 20-66

ESTABLISHING THAT ALL FEES COLLECTED, PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE 13-62, SHALL BE TRANSFERRED AND ACCOUNTED FOR IN FUND 26 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, the City of Ironton, Ohio, previously adopted Ordinance 13-62, which required the owner or operator of any golf cart to pay a fee in the amount of $20.00 to the City of Ironton through the City Police Department before the golf cart may be operated on the streets of the City of Ironton; and,

WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Ironton, Ohio desires this fee to be transferred and accounted for in Fund 26.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Ironton, State of Ohio:

SECTION I:

All funds collected pursuant to Ordinance 13-62 shall be transferred and accounted for in Fund 26 in the City of Ironton budget.

SECTION II:

That this Ordinance is hereby declared an emergency measure for the protection of the public peace and welfare of the citizens of the City of Ironton, Ohio.
