ORDINANCE NO. 20-42

AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO THE ATTACHED CHANGE ORDER TO THE EXISTING CONTRACT WITH REBUILD-IT SERVICES GROUP, LLC. NOT TO EXCEED $14,995.00 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, the City has previously entered into a contract with ReBuild-It Services Group, LLC. to rebuild 4 clarifiers and 1 thickener at the City’s Sewage Treatment Plant; and,

WHEREAS, while performing said work existing problems have been discovered, which need to likewise be repaired that were not included in the original contract; and,

WHEREAS, a Change Order is needed to approve any additional expenditures to make these additional repairs.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRONTON, OHIO:

SECTION I: That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into the attached Change Order with ReBuild-It Services Group, LLC. not to exceed $14,995.00.

SECTION II: That this Ordinance is hereby declared an emergency measure necessary for the public peace, welfare and safety of the Citizens of the City of Ironton, Ohio and shall take effect immediately upon passage.
