CREATING A CARES ACT FUND (FUND 6) AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, it has become necessary to create a CARES ACT FUND to fund necessary COVID-19 pandemic-related expenses based upon the proportion of Local Government Fund revenue allocated to subdivisions in 2019,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Ironton, State of Ohio:
SECTION 1: That the CARES ACT FUND (FUND 6) shall be created by the City, effective immediately.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared an emergency measure necessary for the protection of the public peace and welfare of the citizens of the City of Ironton, Ohio.
