ORDINANCE NO. 20-33
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH MULLINS CONSTRUCTION CO. INC. FOR THE BRUMBERG HISTORIC RENOVATION PHASE 1 PROJECT, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, the City of Ironton, Ohio received competitive bids for the project known as the Brumberg Historic Renovation Phase 1 Project on March 10, 2020, and
WHEREAS, upon review the apparent low-bidder has been determined to be Mullins Construction Co., Inc., in the amount of $1,131,604.00.
WHEREAS, this project is to be funded by various funding sources, as outlined in the CDBG and related applications and matching contributions.
WHEREAS, the Lawrence Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) is the owner representative of the Brumberg Building, will be contributing matching funds to complete the Phase 1 project, and will be a Third Party to said contract.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, by the Council of the City of Ironton, Ohio:
SECTION 1: The Council of the City of Ironton, Ohio be and is hereby authorize the Mayor to enter into Contract with Mullins Construction Co., Inc. for the Brumberg Historic Renovation Phase 1 Project, in the amount of $1,131,604.00.
SECTION 2: The Council of the City of Ironton, Ohio be and hereby considers this ordinance an Emergency.
