Join Ironton’s Cleanup Week!
Fall is a good time to clear out what you no longer need. The City of Ironton will host City Wide Cleanup Week from Tuesday, October 13 through Saturday, October 17, 2026, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day. Bring your unwanted household items to the dumpsters and let us haul them away.
When
Tuesday, October 13 through Saturday, October 17, 2026, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily.
Location
Dumpsters will be available at the city garage, 2940 S. 3rd Street (the former Wolohan Building).
What to Bring
Unwanted household items.
What Not to Bring
Due to EPA regulations, we cannot accept:
- Tires
- Batteries
- Paint
- Oil
- Electronics
- Mercury
- Prescription drugs
- Fluorescent light bulbs
- Lawn chemicals
- Smoke detectors
- Large appliances
- Fireworks
What You Need
Bring your photo ID and your Ironton utility bill. Both are required to verify that you live in the city.
How You Can Help
Join your neighbors and bring down those unwanted items. Check on an older neighbor who may need a hand loading a truck. Working together keeps Ironton clean, safe, and looking its best.
