RESOLUTION NO. 21-51

A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING FACE COVERS WHILE IN THE CHAMBERS OF THE IRONTON CITY COUNCIL AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, levels of COVID-19 are rising in the area; and,

WHEREAS, the City Council desires a safe place for all in conducting their meetings.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRONTON, OHIO:

SECTION 1: That the City Council hereby strongly recommends that any visitors, invited guests, participants, or Council Members who have not been fully vaccinated wear a face covering and socially distance while in the Council Chambers.

SECTION 2: That the Council of the City of Ironton strongly recommends that all visitors, invited guests, participants, or Council Members who are fully vaccinated, but cannot socially distance while in the Council Chambers, wear a face covering, unless speaking.

SECTION 3: This Resolution shall be declared an emergency necessary for the protection of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of the City of Ironton, Ohio.
