RESOLUTION NO. 21-22

AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A BOOM TRUCK

WHEREAS, the City of Ironton is in need of a new boom truck; and,

WHEREAS, the City has received a quote from Altech Nueco, LLC for the purchase of a 2015 Kenworth T370 with an Altech Model AC18-70B Boom for the sum of $106,000.00.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRONTON, OHIO:

SECTION 1: That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a purchase agreement with Altech Nueco, LLC for the purchase of a 2015 Kenworth T370 with an Altech Model AC18-70B Boom for the sum of $106,000.00.

SECTION 2: This Resolution shall be declared an emergency necessary for the protection of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of the City of Ironton, Ohio.
