RESOLUTION OF AUTHORIZATION FOR ODNR GRANT

WHEREAS, the State of Ohio, through the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, administers financial assistance for public recreation purposes, through Recreational Trails Program (RTP) and/or the Clean Ohio Trails Fund (COTF).
WHEREAS, the City of Ironton desires financial assistance under the RTP and COTF Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRONTON, OHIO:
Section I:
That the City of Ironton approves filing an application for RTP and COTF financial assistance.
Section II:
That Mayor Samuel Cramblit is hereby authorized and directed to execute and file an application with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and to provide all information and documentation required to become eligible for possible funding assistance.
Section III:
That the City of Ironton does agree to obligate the funds required to satisfactorily complete the proposed project and become eligible for reimbursement under the terms and conditions of the RTP and COTF Program.
Section IV:
This Resolution shall be declared an emergency necessary for the protection of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of the City of Ironton, Ohio.
