REPEALING SECTION 220.03(b) OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF IRONTON, OHIO AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

Whereas,

WHEREAS, City Council recently adopted Ordinance 21-08 regarding compensation for
Members of Council; and,

WHEREAS, said ordinance repealed Section (a) of Section 220.03 of the Codified Ordinances,
but did not repeal Section (b) of said section.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRONTON, OHIO:

SECTION I: That Section 220.03(b) of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Ironton, Ohio
be and is hereby repealed.

SECTION II: This ordinance shall be declared an emergency necessary for the protection of
the health, safety and welfare of the residents of the City of Ironton, Ohio.
