ORDINANCE CREATING AN R-1A SINGLE-FAMILY DISTRICT AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, the City has various zoned districts governing residential, business, and industrial uses; and,
WHEREAS, it would be in the best interest of the City of Ironton to create a new district to be added to the existing zoned districts,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRONTON, OHIO:
SECTION I:
That Residence R-1A Single-Family District is hereby established as a new zoning district in the City of Ironton, Ohio.
SECTION II:
That said district shall fully comply with all the requirements of a Residence R-1 Single-Family District as set forth in Sections 1258.01 through 1258.04 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Ironton, Ohio, with the exception that the setback line for the front yard be fifteen (15) feet and that the maximum lot coverage be forty (40%) percent.
SECTION III:
That this Ordinance is hereby declared an emergency measure necessary for the public peace, welfare and safety of the Citizens of the City of Ironton, Ohio and shall take effect immediately upon passage.
