AUTHORIZING THE DETACHMENT OF 33.89 ACRES OF LAND SITUATE IN THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 21, T 1, R 18, OF THE OHIO RIVER SURVEY SITUATE IN THE TOWNSHIP OF UPPER, COUNTY OF LAWRENCE, AND THE CITY OF IRONTON, STATE OF OHIO

WHEREAS, pursuant to O.R.C. 709.38, Rayetta Waldo, who is a freehold elector of the City of Ironton and is the sole owner of real estate in the City of Ironton, Ohio, more particularly described hereinafter and has requested the City Council to adopt an ordinance detaching said real estate from the City of Ironton,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRONTON, OHIO:
SECTION I:
That by the adoption of this ordinance, the City Council of the City of Ironton, Ohio hereby assents to the territory within the City of Ironton, being particularly described by a legal description and plat map attached hereto as Exhibit “A” and incorporated herein as if fully rewritten and consisting of 33.89 acres and being Lawrence County Auditor Parcel No. 37-008-0700, being detached from the municipal corporation limits of the City of Ironton, Ohio.
