2020 Tax Year Filing Deadline

We, the City of Ironton, will follow the State and the IRS by extending our deadline to file and pay Ironton city tax to May 17, 2021.

PLEASE be sure all necessary items are in the packet/envelope prior to dropping off:

A signed Ironton tax form
W2(s), 1099(s), Federal 1040 with accompanying Schedules
Tuition statement, ID with birthdate, etc. for any student deduction (under age of 26)
If you received unemployment compensation, it is not taxable to us, but please enclose information regarding so we know what is in Line 8 of the 1040.

The Treasury Department, The Internal Revenue Service and The State of Ohio have changed the 2020 filing deadline to Monday, May 17, 2021.
